WHY I’M RUNNING
Mt. Hood Community College supported me when I needed it most. I’m running for the Board of Education to ensure the college continues to be a place of opportunity for the next generation—whether they’re starting college for the first time, training mid-career, or searching for a better path forward.
MHCC students are working parents, caretakers, first-generation learners, and future community leaders. They bring determination, resilience, and vision to our classrooms. We owe it to them to invest in a college that is affordable, inclusive, and fully resourced.
I’m running to expand student support, fight for equity-centered policies, and ensure every student has a real chance to succeed—no matter their background or circumstances.
MHCC changed my life. I’m ready to help it change even more.
